Gilgit Baltistan got independence from Dograh Raj in 1st Novenber,1947 by efforts of their own with stones and farming equipment's like axes. Miss Saliha Nazwaz student from Gilgit Baltistan studied at Fatima Jinnah Women University Islamabad delivers his speech on the celebration of Independence day of Homeland in the presence of Chief Minister of Gilgit Baltistan Mir. Hafiz Hafiz-Ur-Rehman. She describe that we still feel privileged at the sixty ninth independence day of Gilgit Baltistan. Saliha mention that I wish to see a day when there were no tribes and sects but a nation. Rather than different languages, cultures we have same ways of livings. We have qualified human resource but there is no platforms to perform our skills. When Gilgit Baltistan after Independence declare themselves as Pakistanis, up till now Pakistani Government rule here but there were no any facilities provide by Pakistani Govt so people of the land is in many troubles.
